| At the conclusion of this activity, attendees should be able to: |

- Describe the pathogenesis and treatment of dry age-related macular degeneration; provide insights on nutritional therapy, imaging techniques, and new medications
- Discuss the use of anti-VEGF agents, as well as optimal dosing strategies, for the treatment of choroidal neovascularization in wet age-related macular degeneration
- Provide a review of the latest developments in vitreoretinal surgery technology, drug delivery, and artificial vision used to improve patient outcomes
- Review new developments in the management of retinal detachment in both adults and children
